Looking through the history…

1920’s Rossington Hall

A kind donation from Mr Stanley Marshall was a very old photo album he found in his posession from a previous wardrobe he had bought from a 1920’s auction.

Some fantastic photos of Rossington and the local community, also two photos of Rossington Hall. Besides this was a write up involving the previous owners, James and Annette Streatfield. It is thought that along with other important community members, and conductor ‘Mr Cooke’, the Streatfields atended a trip to Scotland by coach.

The photo shows the path running from the back of the building down into the sunken garden area. Old photos like this are perfect for helping us with our restoration. If you have anything, don’t hesitate to get in touch…
