Loved our Christmas afternoon tea at Rossington Hall as always. Thank you. Nice little Christmas market to start with this year – with some good stalls. Some free samples too! Then inside for drinks whilst we waited to be seated. Apparently we were 30 mins late being seated but we were too busy enjoying being together in gorgeous surroundings to notice. Buzzing atmosphere with tasteful Christmas touch. See you next year!

Wayne and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our Wedding day beautiful and so special on the 5th September. All of your hard work did not go unrecognized. It was picture perfect. We will never forget that day as long as we both shall live. Our Wedding Day was so magical for the both of us. You completed this without a hitch. You made Wayne and I feel as if our day was the most important day of our life. It was a blessing. The meal, buffet and breakfast was AMAZING! (Enjoyed and commented by everyone). We went to Rossington as a treat after a tough week so we were both pretty tired and grumpy, within 20 mins of being there we were both smiling again, the staff are so friendly and attentive, 1 young girl even bought a stool over 4 me to put my hand bag on, they cud not do enough for us, we had the 4 course Sunday meal, I had beef which was lovely, if I was to b really picky then it wud b that the gravy was 2 salty 4 me, my husband had lamb which just dropped off the bone, although we did spy fish on another table which has given us a reason to go back again we also had a bottle of red to complement the meal, after our meal we sat in the drawing room next to the fire, which relaxed us even more if that was possible, we came away feeling so much more relaxed and happy.

I’ve been told about this place by a few people and said it was a nice place so we booked. I’m glad we did as that was one of the nicest Sunday lunches for a long time. The staff are very polite and happy. We both had the prawns for the starter, Tracey had the beef and I had the lamb shank, we did like it but Tracey did say her gravy was quite salty though. I will be coming back soon, just one thing that happened and didn’t realise till after I got home was I ordered a bottle of wine and it was brought to the table already corked, when a bottle of wine is about 25pound you would have no idea if it was the same or a cheaper wine poured into the wine bottle!

What an amazing place. My sons wedding was wonderful, nothing was to much trouble, excellent food, staff very efficient & friendly. The bedrooms are unquie, all tastefully done and in keeping with the old building. Thank you to all the staff involved for helping to make a very special couples day run so smoothly & enjoyable for everyone.
