Rossington Hall Open Day
Rossington Hall Opens its Doors on Amazing Renovations
This Victorian Stately Home in Doncaster has been recently restored to its former glory.
Rossington Hall’s new owners, Gary and Michelle Gee, have worked to restore and recapture the beauty of Rossington Hall over the last year or so and are now ready to show off this Victorian home to the public.
On Sunday 13th May, Rossington Hall will open its doors to the public so visitors can see how the near completion of the first phase of the renovations has produced an amazing transformation.
Set to become one of the region’s top and unique wedding and celebration venues, the hall has been restored to the highest possible standard using luxurious and bespoke furniture, fittings, fabrics, wallpapers and carpets – all in original period designs.
The open day is a great opportunity for visitors to see rooms such as the sumptuous drawing room with original oak plank floor, entrance hall with imposing stately staircase flanked by huge marble pillars, oak panelled library, stone portico entrance and huge, ornate panelled ballroom.
Visitors will also be free to stroll around the lovingly restored gardens and see the wonderful changes to the tranquil walled garden, once hidden Italian sunken garden and beautiful rose garden.
There is a small entrance fee of £2 per person (under 16s free), but all proceeds will go towards ensuring that the restorations continue to the same high standard. Light refreshments will also be available.
