Rossington Hall Open Day
Check out the progress so far!
Its been a mad couple of months as work has started to restore Rossington Hall to its former glory.
Unoccupied over the last few years, the hall was allowed to fall into a sad state so there is plenty of work for us to do if we are to turn this run down building into one of the most sought after hotels in the area.
We are opening our doors on Sunday the 4th of September to give you a chance to see what’s been happening behind the scenes at the first stage of development. After only a couple of months, things are moving quickly and so much has already been achieved.
Throughout the afternoon there will be the opportunity to take a look at the amazing (once hidden) Italian gardens and meet the team involved with the restoration. You can even see the horses from the Northern Racing College and take a look at the Victorian stables. With Markham Main Colliery Band there to make sure your entertained and refreshments available its set to be a great afternoon.
The work completed already is only just the beginning but we are keen to get as many people involved as possible even at this early stage.
Please come along and join us – and if you know the estate, or anyone who has worked here in the past, please do come and tell us. We would love to find out as much as we can about the history of this wonderful place so that we can restore it to its former glory.
