Winter Wedding Wonderland

On Saturday 19th January 2013, following their ceremony at Doncaster Register Office, the new Mr and Mrs Hull celebrated their marriage with family and friends at Rossington Hall. Overnight the snow had fallen and settled, transforming Rossington Hall in to the perfect winter wedding wonderland.

Sue and Walter, of Cusworth, Doncaster, arrived at Rossington Hall in a beautiful classic ivory wedding car making their way up the long, sweeping, tree lined drive to their drinks reception in the grand staircase entrance. Whilst guests were busy warming themselves by the fires, our couple braved the elements for their photographs and the results, as you can see below, were amazing! They look the picture of happiness, just as newlyweds should, and all of the staff and guests commented on how beautiful our bride looked that day in her floor length satin gown with a stunning (yet practical!) stole.

Their photographs culminated in shots taken on our oak staircase, which provides a beautiful backdrop for a range of individual, couple and group shots and as you can see below is ideal for those wonderfully romantic images.

Sue and Walter chose the intimate surroundings of the oak panelled dining room at Rossington Hall to celebrate their nuptials. With a roaring open fire and a candlelit table the dining room created a perfect romantic atmosphere in which to dine with their guests.

The happy couple will be honeymooning in New Zealand where there is probably a much lesser chance of having to brave the snow! All of the staff at Rossington Hall would like to congratulate Sue and Walter on their marriage and wish them all the best for their future together.
